This beautiful tree was planted in 1987 in Brisbane Botanic gardens but I have never seen one anywhere else south of Brisbane and would be interested to know why they have not been more extensively planted.
Not to be confused with the Yellow Flame Tree-Peltophorum pterocarpum,sometimes incorrectly referred to as the Yellow Poinciana.
