Developed in New Zealand in the 1970's Star Wars is one of the best hybrids ever developed.
These are planted in our garden and were quite young when these images were taken.The flowers are huge but deteriorate after heavy rain or wind quite quickly.Best in a really well protected site.On the Aussie East coast they will flower twice a year-in July August while leaves have all dropped and again in January February in full leaf,although leass spectacular.
