Nooroo in Spring - Mt Wilson, Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia

Nooroo is situated on Church Lane at Mount Wilson in the NSW Blue Mountains and is one of Australia's most beautiful high altitude gardens. Built in 1880 by William Cox, Nooroo was transformed into the wonderful spring and Autumn garden we see today by the Valder family who purchased Nooroo in 1917 maintaining and developing the gardens till 1987 when the property passed to new owners who have continued the tradition.
Nooroo is famous for its wisterias being the former home of noted authority on wisterias - Peter Valder.
