After leaving Cusco,we flew over Amazon tributary rainforest to Puerto Maldonardo,a thriving river town and base for many Amazon lodges.We travelled 4 hours up river in a motorised canoe,entering the Tambopata Nature Reserve and our accomodation at Tambopata Lodge.
