Avenue planting of colourful autumn folliage trees has been carried out since the 1880's in Mt Wilson and hence the beauty of the very English style village as one drives in.The road passes through some rainforest thickets as you come into the village and the contrast to the brightly coloued exotic deciduous trees is quite stunning.
