We passed through the Painted Desert on our way to Monument Valley from Lake Powell and Kayenta. With no time to stop the best I could do is snap off some shots through the window. It was indeed a varied and colourful desert landscape which became more mountainous as we got closer to Monument Valley. I have done my best to simplistically tidy up any reflections and foreground blur.
