The Jenolan River walk takes one to the Blue Lake,weir, and beyond and runs directly below the road leading in to Caves House.
The consruction of the weir in 1908 made it possible for hydro electricity to be produced sustaining the historic Caves House following tourist development capitalising on the magnificent 22 limestone cave system of Jenolan,first discovered in 1860,and then progressively developed up the mid 1900's.
Reflections of the forest and cars leaving Jenolan Caves on the road above the river were quite interesting as well as reflections of some historic buildings.
