This gravel has appeared in our creek since a property was entirely cleared of vegetation and a house located on the site.Prolonged filling of the site over many years together with totally inadequate erosion control has seen dumps of gravel of this nature after every gully raker storm.The speed with which water now runs off is substantial carrying with it huge amounts of silt each and every storm.Fortunately I have been fit and able to continually shovel it out and have used it to dress the tracks in the rainforest but my hope is that the problem will be addressed..
