The Admiralty Islands are a small group of islands just a few hundred metres offshore from Neds Beach and Malabar Hill. They are home to a variety of nesting seabirds, among them Mutton Birds and Masked Boobys to mention a few.The introduction of Kikuya Grass has however had a devastating impact on Muttonbird nesting as the grass grows into the nests making it an impractical nesting site.More robust birds like the masked Bobby now dominate.
