The small Central Business District of Lord Howe Island is home to the Post Office,Thompsons Store,A restaurant,a tourist shop,the power station and generator,a small hall where Movies can be seen and a number of tourism otiented operations which are located a short distance away on the edge of the lagoon. A cycle hire shop is just a short distance from the CBD also.
