The Poplars, Former Home of Mr & Mrs Henry Gyles-Brown, Lawsons Lane, Meadow Flat, Great Western Highway, NSW

Old houses and their occupants always have significant history that should be remembered. No doubt this property was built by hard work and hardship. Today it stands a ruin nestled among the Lombardy poplars with a sign on its gate - "The Poplars", the only visible link to its no doubt fascinating history.
Its likely it will just deteriorate and one day someone will knock it down. Hopefully someone can find a way to restore it.
Any information on the Gyles-Brown Family and this property is gratefully received.
