While I was shooting images of the stranded Pasha Bulker on Nobbys beach breakwall on 21st June 2007, the day before salvage lockdown
, I was enthralled by the storm cloud formations over the ships anchored off Newcastle awaiting coal loading access.
I turned around to look back over Stocton and Newcastle and was surprised to observe a stunningly unique sunset with whispy cloud draping down displaying the most unusual sunset I had seen in a long time.
