Neds Beach-Lord Howe Island

Neds Beach-Lord Howe Island

Neds Beach is a beautiful white sandy beach with a Northerly orientation being protected by the dense Kentia and Banyan Fig forest behind the beach when southerlies are blowing. It is only a short walk or ride across the island from the lagoon and the CBD.
Great views of Malabar Hill, out to the Admiralty Islands ,daily fish feeding, nesting seabirds, and excellent snorkeling scuba and beachcombing opportunities attract visitors with the snorkeling gear available on a voluntary fee for use honour system.Use the gear, return it and drop your money in the tin.
It is however the snorkeling on the coral and rock platforms that leaves one with lasting memories as well as the myriad of fish and other marine life so readily seen.
