NOTE - Only 2 gardens uploaded of the 6 gardens visited so far.

Killabakh is situated 17km North of Wingham on the Comboyne Road in the southern shadow of the extinct volcanic cone known as Mount Goonook.
Killabakh Garden Club celebrated its 25th Anniversary in 2012 so the club organised an open garden day which was extremely well supported with perhaps 800 to 1000 visitors enjoying 6 local open gardens.
While the weather was nice for the first few hours the sun disappeared behind progressively blacker clouds till around mid afternoon they dropped some nuisance value precipitation.
Nevertheless anyone who got there by 10.30 am would have seen all the gardens in dry weather.
The Killabakh Hall was chockers for lunch and the adjacent markets did a good trade.
All in all a great day with all the gardens having something of interest for everyone.
The hard working Killabakh Garden Club committee and the respective garden owners deserve a big round of applause for yet another successful day.
The 6 Open Gardens were owned by:-
A. Mark and Wendy Vaile
B. Ken and Wendy Boyd
C. Mavis Bailey
D. Chris and Carol Saul
E. Allan and linda Mitchell
F. George Hoad

I am told that there is a Country Fair at Killabakh on the first weekend in November so I will be keen to return to see what else this energetic small rural community has to offer.
