Bulahdelah is a sleepy little town about 2 hours 30 minutes north of Sydney on the Pacific Highway. The Myall River passes beside the town which serves the tourism industry on the northern end of the world heritage listed Myall Lakes National Park. With the impressive Alum Mountain to the east,Bulahdelah, the Myall River and a number of nearby National parks offer tourists a great opportunity to explore a very beautiful part of the NSW Hunter/Mid North Coast.
The Myall River eventually runs to sea at Port Stephens and is often explored by boat as far north as Bungwahl.
House Boats can be hired at Bulahdelah for a leisurely, tranquil holiday cruising the magnificent Myall Lakes.
These images were shot from the bridge as one enters Bulahdelah and the latter shots from the park below the bridge.
