Main Street Murals - Tully, North Queensland, Australia

Tully is a small sugar and banana growing town not far inland from Mission Beach in North Queensland, Australia.
Tully is famous for being arguably the wettest town in Australia,in excess of 4,000mm of rain annually. Babinda also lays claim to the title.Tully's Golden Gumboot at the edge of town appears to confirm the perception of Tully as the champion.
These 7 murals are part of one large set of Murals painted as far as I can find out in 2005 by Annette Nielson after the Tully Chamber of Commerce received a grant to commission the painting of murals to beautify the town. The murals are prominently displayed on the wall of a shop in Tully main street.
I photographed these individually and have cropped and worked on them minimally in PSP to tidy up any imperfections resulting from their being on public display in the main street of Tully.
