Blackhead Beach April 2007

Blackhead Beach April 2007

Blackhead Beach is about 3 hours north of Sydney in the rapidly growing Manning Great Lakes region of the Mid North Coast of NSW.
This idyllic beach is given a wonderful ambience by the entry through forest to the village. Norfolk Island Pines along the back of the beach also add significantly to the charm of this safe, patrolled beach.
Blackhead Beach has won the "NSW Tidiest Beach Award" on several occasions in recent years.
With littoral rainforest on both the Redhead headland ,in the middle of the beach and also on Blackhead headland there is always a quiet walk in the rainforest to cool off on the hot days in summer. The small island off the point is known as 'Razorback'.
Blackhead Beach is located 25 minutes north of the twin towns of Forster-Tuncurry.
