We arrived in La Paz at 4,100m at the airport and El Alto City a city of 1 million people at the top of the crater in which La Paz has developed.La Paz City (1 million)at the bottom is at 3,600m.The drive down is spectacular.The rich live at the bottom because it is warmer and there is more oxygen.
